Dates Souq

This is the dates section at the Central Manama Souq which is located in Bahrain’s capital, Manama. Bahrain still maintains an active market for dates which is being produced locally and imported from Saudi Arabia. The beautiful oriental flavor of the souqs and markets in Bahrain reminds us of Bahrain’s legacy during the golden ages of the pearl and spices road.
