Bertinoro – Italy

Italy is one of the few countries that give me the feeling of deep-rootedness. During my visit to Bertinoro which is a small village in northern Italy I was completely taken by a unique indescribable romantic atmosphere. I truly wanted to paint plein air but I was busy attending a course in medical genetics. However, I took some photos as a reference and painted this one at home. The lady in red shirt is a friend of mine from the Netherland.
